Repairs for riders around St. Pete

Our shop is at 1972 15th Ave N in St. Petersburg. We don't do pickups or mobile repairs, so here's what riders from nearby towns should know about getting here and riding at home.

Gulfport

About 4 miles as the crow flies

Gulfport is our closest neighbor, a small waterfront city on Boca Ciega Bay known for Williams Pier and its First Friday Art Walk. It's an easy trip to the shop for a tune-up, a flat or an e-bike that's acting up.

Local rules to watch: Gulfport's city council has reviewed a draft e-bike ordinance, with members favoring restrictions during festivals and events. If you ride to Art Walk or other events, keep an eye out for new signs if those rules pass.

Pinellas Park

About 7 miles as the crow flies

Pinellas Park borders St. Petersburg in the middle of the county, with US 19, State Roads 693 and 694 and an I-275 exit running through it. Those are busy, fast roads, so brakes that work and lights that others can see matter. Our bike safety checklist covers what to check before you head out.

Getting to the shop: head south into St. Petersburg. Check your exact route in Google Maps.

Seminole

About 10 miles as the crow flies

Seminole's main roads are State Road 694 and Alternate US 19, and the Pinellas Trail runs past Orange Blossom Park. The trail allows e-bikes, is open from 7 a.m. to sunset, and riders must obey posted speed limits. If you ride it often, tires, brakes and chains wear faster than you might expect.

Largo

About 10 miles as the crow flies

Largo sits in central Pinellas between the Intracoastal Waterway and Tampa Bay, home to Largo Central Park. State Roads 686 and 688 connect it to I-275, and US 19 and Alternate US 19 run north and south through the city. For e-bike power problems, e-moto work or a custom build, it's a short drive down to the shop.

Across Pinellas

Rules are changing

E-bike rules around the county are moving quickly. Pinellas County commissioners plan to revisit local e-bike regulations. St. Petersburg set a 10 mph limit on the North Bay Trail in August 2026. Tarpon Springs gave first approval in August 2026 to requiring bikes and e-bikes to be walked through parts of its downtown and the Sponge Docks area, with a final vote still to come.

Our Florida e-bike laws guide has the details and sources, and we update it as rules change.
