We tune, adjust and repair pedal bikes at our shop at 1972 15th Ave N in St. Petersburg. Like every job here, it starts with a look at what the bike actually needs, and you approve the price before any parts are ordered.
What we fix
- Tune-ups and adjustments: shifting, brakes, bolts and bearings checked and dialed in
- Brakes: weak, noisy or rubbing brakes, pads and adjustment
- Drivetrain: skipping or slipping gears, a chain that keeps falling off, worn chains and cassettes
- Flats, tires and tubes
- Wheels: wobbly wheels and broken spokes
- Squeaks, creaks and clicks, loose pedals or cranks
- Safety checks for a bike that's been sitting in the garage
When a tune-up makes sense
Bring your bike in when shifting feels vague, brakes need a hard squeeze, the chain looks dry or rusty, or you're getting a bike back on the road after a long break. Rain and salty air near the water are hard on chains, cables and brake parts, so bikes ridden near the beach often need attention sooner.
How it works
- Book online or call to set a time.
- Bring the bike in and tell us how it's been riding.
- We check it over and explain what it needs and what it will cost.
- You approve, and only then do we order any parts.
- We finish the work, test it and let you know it's ready.

Questions riders ask
Do you really work on regular bikes?
Yes. Pedal bikes, e-bikes, e-motos and custom builds. Every rider is welcome.
Can you look at a bike I haven't ridden in years?
Absolutely. We'll check tires, brakes, chain and bolts, and tell you what it needs to be safe before you ride it.
Do you sell bikes or parts?
No. We're a repair shop. Parts are ordered for your bike once you've approved the repair.
