E-bike repair

E-bike repair in St. Pete

When your e-bike acts up, you want the real problem found, not a pile of parts thrown at it. Every repair starts with a diagnosis, and you approve the price before anything is ordered.

Our shop at 1972 15th Ave N in St. Petersburg works on e-bikes of every style, from commuters and cruisers to fat tire and cargo bikes. We find what's actually wrong, explain it in plain English, and only order parts once you've approved the price.

What we fix

  • Batteries that won't charge, drain fast or cut out under load
  • Hub and mid-drive motors that feel weak, make noise or stop working
  • Controllers, displays and throttles, including error codes
  • Wiring and connectors, plus lights and horns
  • Brakes, tires, tubes and wheels
  • Drivetrain, shifting and general tune-ups

How an e-bike repair works here

  1. Book online, call 727-331-5886 or send a message with what's going on.
  2. Bring the bike in with its charger and keys. Free charging is on site while you're here.
  3. We test the battery, motor, controller and wiring to find the root cause.
  4. We explain what's wrong, your options and the price.
  5. Parts are ordered only after you approve. We're not a parts store, so there's nothing on a shelf we're trying to sell you.
  6. We repair it, test it and let you know it's ready. Pay with Square online or by phone.

Signs your e-bike needs a look

  • Range that drops quickly, or power that cuts out on hills
  • A code on the display, or a display that flickers or goes blank
  • A throttle that sticks or does nothing
  • Grinding, clicking or whining from the motor
  • Brakes that feel soft or rub
  • A battery that gets hot while charging

If a battery is swollen, cracked, leaking or smells like burning, stop charging it, keep it away from anything flammable and call us before bringing it in.

What to bring

The bike, its charger and any keys. Note when the problem started, anything you heard or saw, and any error code on the display. Receipts or notes from past repairs help too. Want to send the details ahead of time? Use the Quick Start helper.
